St Christopher's Inns do not have an upper age limit. Anyone over 18 is welcome to stay with us!
If you happen to be under the age of 18 and you're not traveling as part of a school group, you must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian*, and stay in a private room or a privatised dorm at St Christopher's Inns.
Parent's permission, statement or document of any kind won't meet our requirements.
If you are under 18 and travelling with your sibling, and your sibling is over 21, you must have written parental permission and copy of their ID as well as the Hostel Manager's approval. Before you book, please get in touch with the hostel to avoid any misunderstandings!
Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to share a dormitory with anyone who is not a part of their specific group.
Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to share a dormitory with strangers, even if they are accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. The room that the minor occupies must be privatised.
This rule is in place to safeguard your well-being and ensure a comfortable and age-appropriate atmosphere for all our guests.
For parents traveling with a child, it's necessary to book a private room or a dorm exclusively for your use. It's preferable that the room includes an attached bathroom (ensuite).
Children aged 2 and above must have their designated bed and cannot share a double or twin room with more than one parent. Please note, we do not offer cots in any of our hostels.
Both Flying Pig Downtown and Uptown are strictly 18+ hostels.
*A legal guardian is considered someone who has legal custody of the minor in question.
