If you have chosen a non-refundable rate on Hostelworld, Booking or Expedia then your card will be charged any time after your booking has been confirmed.
For flexible rates, your card will be charged according to the cancellation policy. This is usually 1 day to 3 days before your arrival date.
If you booked directly, your card will not be charged unless you have opted for the Non-refundable rate or Pay Now in the booking process.
Please note: cancellation and no-show fees can be charged to your card at any point within 6-9 months after the arrival date.
